Ted W. Christner, Field Project Manager
Ted is one of the company’s most talented and innovative professionals, working along with Terry Swartz and Paul Prewozniak throughout the course of every building project to assure our customers the quality for which Ron Swartz Construction is noted. The company relies on his abilities and expertise to coordinate all the entities of a design/build project to create a product customers and employees alike can be proud of.
Ted trains and supervises the day-to-day construction workers and recruits our tradespeople. He manages the formal scheduling system and maintains all job schedules. As framing superintendent, Ted supervises the company’s framing crew. He is also responsible for ensuring safe work practices and complying with all OSHA job site requirements. Above all, Ted communicates the Ron Swartz Construction “We care” attitude to customers from the first meeting through final walk-through.
Ted is an industry veteran of 29 years, the last 24 years with Ron Swartz Construction. He attended Construction Trade School and also studied computer-aided design (CAD) at Glendale Community College.
“I enjoy building each home specifically to the client’s desires,” Ted says. “I appreciate the quality work of our employees. It’s a pleasure working with them alongside our family members every day.”
Ted enjoys muscle cars and spending time with his family, especially on a boat. A member of Calvary Community Church, Ted and his wife, Cindy, regularly host Young Life youth ministry events in their home.
